ABOUT THESE GUIDES
Useful enough to act on.
Clear about what we know.
These field notes are published by AbstractMetrics for people who want to improve a website without spending their day inside analytics reports.
How the guides are made
We use official Google documentation for metric definitions and technical guidance. Each article links to the sources behind those statements and shows the date they were checked. Our workflows and examples are editorial suggestions, not instructions issued by Google.
AI assistance is used for drafting and implementation. Content is checked against the cited documentation and the product’s implemented behaviour. We do not present fictional examples as customer results or claim hands-on testing that did not happen.
What the examples mean
Example businesses, page scenarios and performance figures are illustrative. They explain a decision without exposing customer analytics. Product screening thresholds are labelled as rules for choosing checks, never industry benchmarks or guaranteed outcomes.
What the product can do
AbstractMetrics reads your selected Google Analytics and Search Console properties. It provides a dashboard, reporting tools and evidence-backed Next actions. It cannot change your website, install tracking, request indexing or guarantee rankings. ChatGPT can help interpret reports and prepare drafts when you connect it or provide a brief.
Privacy on this blog
The blog loads no advertising, analytics tags or third-party fonts. The action planner runs in your browser and does not read your connected accounts. Checklist completion is stored locally in this browser and can be cleared on each guide. It is not synced to AbstractMetrics. Your hosting connection still sends ordinary request information to the hosting provider.
Copying a prompt only copies text. Nothing is sent to ChatGPT until you choose to paste or share it. See the app privacy policy for connected reporting accounts.
